Mumu & ZJ’s Silcox Hut wedding above Timberline Lodge was exactly that: an intimate Mount Hood celebration designed around experience, connection, and presence. With guests riding up the mountain together in a snowcat, the day unfolded as a shared adventure, none of their friends or family had ever encountered before. Every detail, from alpine light to thoughtful touches, felt deliberate and memorable.
Morning Moments and a Meaningful Ceremony at Silcox Hut
The morning began quietly at Timberline Lodge with a private first look. Parents placed heirloom gifts, and the couple spent time preparing the space at Silcox Hut themselves, shaping an environment that invited everyone in the room to participate. During the ceremony, rings passed hand-to-hand on long red ribbons, and a champagne-filled exit transformed the ceremony itself into a celebration.
Sunset Portraits and Alpine Traditions on Mt. Hood
As the day transitioned to evening, Mumu changed into a traditional red dress. Live music performed by the couple and relaxed conversation replaced a traditional dance floor. Beautiful outdoor portraits captured the mountain at sunset and night, letting Mount Hood itself frame the moments.
