Washington Barn Wedding - Bereka & AJ

We loved this rustic, Washington barn wedding in the heart of Long View, Washington. The day began with a horseback first look and a ceremony in the old family barn. The huge barn was packed with loving guests who sat delightfully on hay bales covered in white linens.

These two never stopped smiling and laughing all day during this fun Washington Barn wedding. It was a real treat to capture their spontaneous joy. They are a fun-loving couple through and through who enjoys skiing, scuba diving, doing home projects, and playing any type of sports.

“If one of us likes to do something we pretty much do it together. We usually spend every weekend together since we work a lot during the week.” shared the bride Bereka. Their love for life was what immediately connected us to Bereka and AJ, but not only did we connect with them we also photographed the bride’s sister years ago. It was a real treat to see their family grow. “You did Christie’s wedding and we love the photos and my family loves both you and Tree so it was an easy choice to make!!”

Along with hosting, Bereka’s parents who own the restaurant Otto’s Sausage Kitchen, also catered this Washington Barn wedding. Dinner was a decadent buffet with a roast and large bowls of farm-fresh goodness. Desert was an assortment of pies and a delicious cake from Papa Hydens a Portland Bakery. The night concluded with a full dance floor before the guests walked to their tents on the outskirts of the property. This was everything that a family farm wedding should be.
