Shirah and Chris Timberline Lodge engagement took us on a fun hiking date at the base of Mt. Hood. The conditions up at Timberline Lodge are always shapeshifting. Either way we are always ready for anything and everything and believe the unknown always invites us to be adventurous and creative. This day brought us blue skies and an opportunity to hike on the mountain in the snow and explore the tree line. Breathing in lots of clean air and sipping on a little Jameson to keep things warm invited lots of laughs as they played with a little shadow dancing and some warm intimate embraces at sunset. At an elevation of 5,960 feet, the base of Mt Hood and Timberline Lodge offers some of the most breathtaking eastward views toward eastern Oregon and westward and northward toward Portland and the Columbia River. The views up here are absolutely spectacular and worth experiencing. Not a bad way to enjoy a hike to take in life and anticipate their upcoming wedding. Our Timberline Lodge engagement adventure with these two was the perfect way to get to know them. We love engagement photos because it builds confidence and trust with our couples so they can relax on their wedding day knowing we are fully committed to going the extra mile to capture the best possible story.
