Yvette and JP’s St James Church wedding began right in the heart of Portland’s Park Blocks. These are two people who live life to the fullest. They love “cuddling and traveling” at every chance they can take. They love good food, hiking, and taking road trips across the US from OR to NC and are planning to visit South America next.

For their Portland wedding, they wanted simple elegance. They want a romantic vintage feel and knew the University Club of Portland would be the perfect spot for getting ready and having their reception. The University Club of Portland is also located in Portland’s Park Blocks which also offers a nice historical touch to their wedding, and perfect because their ceremony was being held at the nearby St James Church. The proximity of these two venues made it easy for everyone to walk, interact and enjoy the flow.  Their reception at the University Club offered a great place for their plated meal surrounded by flowers from Portland Florist. The dancing went on all night with John Ross Music and Production who provided an eclectic collection of music that everyone could enjoy. Yvette and JP also were able to take some romantic time at sunset on Portland’s new one of a kind Tilikum bridge which offers lovely walking views of Portland.
