Amelia and Scott couldn’t have chosen a better location for their Sonoma wine country wedding. The outdoor setting while all of their family and friends circled together standing in honor of their ceremony was incredibly meaningful. Check this out. When they walked into their ceremony their friend and officiant Jeff surprised them with an impromptu performance of their old AOL chat conversations when they first met. Jeff has been a friend of theirs since the beginning, and unbeknownst to Amelia and Scott he saved transcripts of their chats with him when they were first dating! Jeff had the most brilliant idea! He printed out the old transcripts and had them role-play the chat during the beginning of their ceremony. This was one of the most hilarious, sweet, and incredibly touching moments. The perfect touch of comedy to usher in their vows. And what do you get when a designer and an engineer who have been together for 10 years speak their vows? You get the most honest, detailed, and beautifully moving thoughts and feelings that make you cry and laugh simultaneously. This was definitely a Sonoma wine country wedding we will never forget.
Amelia and Scott loved the red/purple – the color of the sweet peas her mom and friends grew for the occasion. Amelia loves her shoes and had so much fun dancing with them. Oh yeah, and the rainbow her dad had painted on his forehead. This fabulous barn was once used for blowing glass and rumor has it the Grateful Dead used to practice in this barn.
Amelia and Scott enjoyed their honeymoon in Israel and Greece.
The closeup photo of the bride’s unique Greek shoes won an international wedding photography awarded by ISPWP.
