Jenny and Brady’s small Silcox Hut wedding atop Mt. Hood was a heart opener for everyone. Their love story began when they met in EMT school, and since then, they’ve become a dynamic duo, volunteering together as firefighters. With their shared motto of “work hard, play hard,” their adventurous spirits have led them to rock climbing, snowboarding, kayaking, weightlifting, hiking—basically, if it’s outdoors, they’re all in!
When Jenny and Brady walked into our studio, they immediately connected with our photography style. They said it was exactly what they envisioned for their wedding: dynamic, fun, creative, and romantic, while beautifully showcasing both the stunning landscapes and the authentic moments they cherish. Hearing their excitement, we knew this would be an unforgettable adventure.
Their small Silcox Hut wedding on Mt. Hood was all about intimacy, nature, and celebration. They wanted a cozy, relaxed atmosphere for their day, perfectly suited to their love for the outdoors. They kicked off the day by getting ready in a cabin at Government Camp (rent a cabin in Government Camp), fully embracing the Timberline Lodge surroundings before embarking on the snowcat journey up the mountain. Silcox Hut, perched high above Timberline Lodge, offered the perfect setting for their special day.
The weather on December 30th, 2017, couldn’t have been more magical—clear blue skies stretched over Mt. Hood, providing a stunning backdrop to their wedding. Jenny and Brady were surrounded by their closest family and friends, creating an intimate and joyful celebration. As they exchanged vows and celebrated the night away in this remote mountaintop lodge, it was the perfect way to end the year and begin their new chapter together.
