Jenny and Brady’s Silcox Hut Wedding atop Mt Hood was a heart opener for everyone. These two met in EMT school and are both currently volunteer firefighters together. They live by the saying “work hard play hard.” They love traveling the world and trying new things. For fun, they enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, kayaking, weightlifting, hiking… you name it.
When they stepped into our studio they immediately told us our photography is exactly what they envision for our wedding day- it’s dynamic, fun, creative, romantic and it perfectly captures the beauty of the settings in addition to the authenticity of the moments. They told us it’s not easy to summarize how amazing their life actually is and it looked like we were up for the challenge. Once we heard this, we were all in!
Jenny and Brady love the outdoors and adventure. They wanted their Silcox Hut wedding to be intimate, relaxed and snuggly. They decided to rent a cabin in Government Camp for getting ready, explore the surroundings of Timberline Lodge. They then took the adventurous ride in the snowcat to the base of Mt Hood above Timberline Lodge to Silcox Hut. The day was filled with clear blue skies! Celebrating their wedding on December 30th, 2017 atop Mt Hood was perfect for celebrating their wedding, enjoying their family and friends, and bringing in the new year.
