Chandra Pomes and Simon Orton’s secluded Silcox Hut wedding atop Mt. Hood was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled high on the mountainside, this intimate venue at 7 thousand feet provided the perfect setting for incredible scenery. Silcox Hut, with its rustic charm and breathtaking views, is a hidden gem for couples seeking a unique, intimate venue that feels miles away from the world below.

The combination of stunning natural beauty and the warmth of an intimate gathering is unmatched. Since Chandra works up at Timberline lodge as the main wedding planner she knew exactly what she wanted. The hut’s rustic charm, with its wooden beams and stone fireplace, created a cozy, welcoming ambiance that inviting them to relax and enjoy every moment.

Chandra and Simon’s secluded Silcox Hut wedding was about the people who made it so special. From the incredible support of Chandra’s family and friends to the love and care provided by their vendors, every detail came together perfectly. In her words, Chandra shared how grateful she was for the people who helped create her “UNFORGETTABLE wedding.” She lovingly acknowledged her mother, sister, and close friends, as well as the incredible team of vendors who felt more like family.

Chandra Pomes: “Where to start on thanking all the people that helped create our wedding;) starting with my mom, sister, Heidi and Geneva they all helped me keep it together as they always do in all aspects of my life…. To my wonderful family and friends for being there on one of most if not the best day of my life… When it comes to venders I really do not think of any of you as that, you all are my family JOS, Tree, Kurt, Michelle (officiants), Scott & Kimberly who did my flowers (Crystal Lilly’s), Judy who made my cake (Dream Cakes) and of course my timberline family you all just made sure I had the most perfect day!  Of course my new family (Simons side) are just the most loving, caring in laws A girl could ask for…  Me and Simon truly feel blessed to know and have all these amazing people in our life. These pictures are so beautiful I can’t stop staring at them as they put me back there in that moment.”
