Sachi and David’s Seattle elopement was wonderfully intimate. Sachi and David are about as relaxed as they are comical. Upon arriving to photograph their private wedding they were swimming and playing on the dock with their dog Nalu. Not just one jump but literally dozens of jumps over again and again like teenagers. The laughter and joy they reflect come from a lifestyle freedom they share. They’ve also seen in the world through many travels and love to keep things simple. Their Seattle elopement was the perfect decision.
Their house is beautifully landscaped with a lake and they wanted the greenery and Mt Rainer to be their backdrop. The only request Sachi and David had for photographing their Seattle elopement was to capture it in a creative photojournalistic way so it reflected their experience. Every time we hear this we know we are a perfect fit.
A few weeks later they had a diner party for friends and family in Portland at Plaza del Toro. Everyone enjoyed all the great things to do in Portland. Guests were certainly not at a loss for great places to stay with Jupiter Hotel, Hotel Rose Portland – A Staypineapple Hotel, and Tiny Digs Hotel as options. They also explored Portland on Biketown to Portland Rose Garden, Powell’s Books, Forest Park, Microbrew Tours, Secrets of Portlandia Free Walking Tour, Portland Bike Tours, Historic Downtown, and food carts. How awesome is that? Super fun. Super smart.
