Oregon Summer Farm Wedding - Alison & Shawn

Alison and Shawn’s Oregon summer farm wedding at the Mt Hood Organic Farms happened on one of those unforgettable August summer days in Oregon. The Mt Hood Organic Farms setting is one of our favorite places to photograph weddings in Oregon. Hood River is gorgeous during the summertime. The team. The food. The views! Seriously fantastic all around.

During the golden hour we had the luxury of having the Mt Hood Organic Farms team on our side. They offered to help usher Alison and Shaun onto the top of their reception view for one of the most spectacular views available on the farm. With every wedding, we try to capture something we’ve never done before, and this was the one for Alison and Shawn. Since then no one has been able to take a photograph from this perspective again, but maybe we can convince the team again for another idea we have up our sleeve. 🙂

The space is so natural and beautiful and it’s stress-free knowing everything and everyone is all in one place yet your guests will be ushered onto different parts of the property throughout the day and night. Gives the feel of a visual shape/shifting experience which everyone will love. We know the Mt Hood Organic Farms team very well and every time we shoot there we try to do something different than before. We love it and would be happy to discuss our ideas and share our experiences there with you. Ohh… did I mention the food… its to die for! Unbelievably fresh farm-to-table food. They often fly in the salmon the night before a wedding and everything else is farm-to-fork fresh.
