Brandy spent the morning with her closest people – sharing stories, sharing laughter, and soaking in the morning light. There was a quiet rhythm to it all. No rush. Just space to feel the day as it unfolded.
Meanwhile, Ernie hung out with parents, keeping things easy and playful – true to his style.
We’re always drawn to these quieter parts of the day. When Brandy and her dad shared a moment before the ceremony, everything else seemed to pause. There’s something special about that in-between time -the stillness before everything begins. What better way to walk into a ceremony?
The Snowcat Ride Into the Clouds
One of our favorite parts of Silcox weddings? The snowcat adventure.
Brandy and her crew took the first ride up – laughing as they climbed the snowy slope toward the hut. That ride alone could be a chapter in a book. Quiet. Beautiful. Timeless.
Ernie followed with family a couple hours later, and finally, their friends made the final trip up. This staggered arrival made the day feel intentional and unrushed, allowing each moment to unfold naturally.

A Ceremony Full of Heart
With no formal wedding party, the ceremony felt deeply personal. Candlelight flickered against stone and timber. Their vows – equal parts warmth, humor, and meaning – echoed through the space. The only décor? A little greenery and slices of light. The greenery softened the space, but the real beauty was in the stillness. Everyone present. No distractions. Just love.

Dinner, Dancing, and Late-Night Laughter
After the ceremony, guests shared a hearty mountain meal followed by dancing, laughter, and lots of toasts.
Instead of calling it a night, Brandy & Ernie and a few guests stayed overnight at the hut. They played card games, shared drinks, and soaked up the final moments of a day that already felt like a dream.
