Cait and Erik’s Mt Hood Organic Farms wedding was everything they hoped for and more. They both live in DC and “they LOVE living in the city, walking/biking everywhere, trying new restaurants, and local markets, but also love getting outside the city for adventures, such as camping, hiking, and skiing. Portland, and Mt. Hood specifically, are special for them in so many ways.”
So when choosing a venue they wanted to incorporate Mt. Hood, but being a destination wedding wanted it to be unique and beautiful. They both work part time at a winery in Virginia and love the feel of being out in the country. Mt Hood Organic Farms weddings provide some of the absolute best wedding experiences in Oregon with it’s a stunning real functioning farm/orchard feel and gorgeous views of Mt Hood.
When we first connected with Cait she brought her father, a photographer into our studio to meet in person. His opinion really mattered to her and she really wanted to find the right fit. What she really loved was the big blue skies, that incredible view, and capturing candid moments in vivid color. Both Cait and Erik wanted something relaxed and natural. To us this was the perfect combo. Plus Dad thought our work was some of the best, so that inspired us to connect even more. Witnessing their love, their family, their friends was an absolute treat. We feel so honored and lucky to have shared their wedding experience with them. The Mt Hood Organic Farms is the best!
