Emily and Travis’ Lost Lake engagement was the perfect hidden jewel for a romantic getaway. It’s an incredibly gorgeous seasonal alpine lake spanning about 79 acres near Santiam Pass Highway. No motorized boats allowed making for tranquil waters. Every time we visit Lost Lake we experience a deep sense of peace and quiet. The lake beautifully mirrors Mt Hood in the distance and is surrounded by beautiful wildflowers, old-growth forests, and wildlife. This is the perfect spot for a fun easy swim, walking around the lake, and camping or staying in one of their cabins. With Emily and Travis we met them during the day while canoeing all alone in the gorgeous Lost Lake. After exploring nature and a magical sunset they invited us to their campsite. They decided to enjoy a few days camping and invited us to have dinner, wine, and good conversation near their campfire. We adore these two and couldn’t have had a better time getting to know them as the perfect lead-in for photographing their wedding at the Mt Hood Organic Farms.
