Logan and Mason’s Kauai Island wedding en-framed by majestic acacias trees felt like massive arms opening up from all their friends and family surrounding them. Emotions and laughter touched everyone who witnessed this magical day. Tree knew Logan way back when she was a little girl along with a very special community of friends from Ojai, California. So being able to both attend this wedding and photograph it meant the world to us.
During Logan and Mason’s Kauai Island wedding “The Hands Blessing” was spoken while they touched hands. It felt like there was a flash of their whole lives being adorned in one instance. We were told that “the purpose of the blessing ceremony is to invite the goodness from the highest for happiness, harmony, health, peace, protection, and abundance.” SO beautiful! Hula dancing, fresh coconuts & rum, comical and soulful speeches, brilliant Hawaiian fire dancers, wild dancing kissed by light rain under a glowing silver moon. It’s no myth, stepping into Kauai Island wedding is a warm paradise that fed us with fragrances and smiles we will never forget. “Island time” might just be the most therapeutic phenomenon on the planet, what more could you ask for on your wedding day?
In addition to a wedding, there is so much to explore on Kauai. It’s the perfect spot to go on an adventure with your family and friends for an extended experience. Plan far in advance and encourage everyone to stay for several days together. It’s the best experience to share together. Quality time is what these gatherings are all about and will be remembered for the rest of your lives. Life is beautiful, especially on Kauai. Be sure to visit Hanalei Bay, Aninin Beach, Wailua Falls, Kalalau Trail, and Kalalau Lookout. Aloha!
