Drone Wedding Photography

We believe the best storytelling images are cinematic, and drone wedding photography can add a great dimension. This is a style of wedding photography that aims to capture the beauty and emotions of the day in a way that resembles scenes from a movie. To us, this means we make a big effort to shoot super close, high, low, far, and sometimes abstract. We believe this helps people “feel” the perspective of the story. In addition to capturing emotions and expressions, movement and action, details, beautiful portraits, dramatic uses of light, and creative off-camera flash, we add in a touch of drone wedding photography to add that extra unique point of view.

If done well drone wedding photography can add an extra spectacular feeling to everything. This highlights the scale and beauty of the setting. It can help set the scene and give viewers a sense of the overall atmosphere and ambiance. Seeing wide-angle aerial views tells us about our place on the planet. If your wedding takes place in a picturesque location, drone shots can showcase the surrounding scenery. Whether it’s mountains, forests, a coastline, or a cityscape, these shots can add a breathtaking backdrop to your wedding story. Drones can capture angles and perspectives that are impossible or challenging to achieve with traditional photography. They can fly above or shoot through otherwise impossible angles offering a fresh and creative take on familiar views. This adds variety to your wedding album and can make it more visually interesting.

Wide-angle views can emphasize the beauty of your chosen venue. Whether it’s a scenic outdoor location, a historic building, or a beachfront setting, aerial shots can showcase the venue’s architectural or natural features and make it a focal point of your story. Incorporating drone wedding photography can help enrich the narrative of your wedding story by providing a unique and visually captivating perspective.

So when we “go far” we not only run up mountains, climb up trees and architecture with wide-angle lenses, but discreetly use our special extra small mini drone to capture a birds-eye view of “you” in the scene. We do this very thoughtfully and as quietly and briefly as possible. Most likely, you won’t even know we are there. We love it!

Landscape wedding photography offers several benefits that can enhance the visual storytelling of your wedding day. Here are some of the advantages:

  1. Scenic Backdrops: Landscape photography takes advantage of natural surroundings, which can provide stunning and picturesque backdrops for your wedding photos. Whether it’s a serene beach, a majestic mountain range, a lush garden, or a serene lake, these landscapes can add depth and beauty to your images.
  2. Timeless Appeal: Landscape photos often have a timeless quality that can make your wedding album feel classic and enduring. These images can be cherished for years to come, evoking the same emotions and beauty as when they were taken.
  3. Contextual Storytelling: Landscape photography can help set the scene and context for your wedding. It showcases the environment in which your celebration took place, giving viewers a sense of the location’s significance and the overall atmosphere of the day.
  4. Variety of Shots: Incorporating landscape elements allows for a wide variety of shots. You can have wide-angle scenic shots, close-ups that incorporate natural elements like flowers or trees, and candid moments that blend seamlessly with the surroundings.
  5. Environmental Portraits: Landscape photography allows for creative environmental portraits. This style captures the couple in the midst of nature, whether it’s holding hands in a field of wildflowers, walking along a beach, or framed by towering trees. These shots can be incredibly romantic and unique.
  6. Seasonal Beauty: Depending on the time of year and location, landscape wedding photography can capture the changing seasons and their unique beauty. For example, a winter wedding in a snowy landscape or a fall wedding in a forest of colorful leaves can be especially enchanting.
  7. Natural Light: Outdoor landscapes often provide excellent natural lighting opportunities. Soft, diffused sunlight during certain times of day can create a flattering and warm atmosphere for your photos.
  8. Diversity of Locations: Landscape wedding photography allows you to choose from a wide range of locations, from rural countryside settings to urban landscapes. This flexibility means you can select a backdrop that perfectly matches your wedding style and vision.
  9. Minimalism and Elegance: Landscape photography can emphasize minimalism and simplicity, which can create an elegant and refined look in your wedding photos. The focus on the landscape can complement a simpler and more understated wedding theme.
  10. Memorable Moments: Some of the most memorable moments of your wedding may occur within the landscape itself, such as a romantic sunset kiss or a candid shot of the couple strolling hand in hand through a scenic setting. These moments can be beautifully captured with landscape photography.
