Exploring a date with Ava and Michael for their Chicago riverwalk engagement photos along the Chicago River Walk was a great way to get to know them and capture some inspirational photos for their upcoming wedding at Youngberg Hill Winery. We loved this quality time getting to know Ava and Michael. Having extra time to truly get to know the history of their relationship during their Chicago riverwalk engagement photos, we learn about their visions for the future, and simply having fun gave us access to photographing them authentically.
Ava and Michael had a beautiful June day together enjoying the magnificent backdrop of the historical cityscape of Chicago. The river walk offers fantastic architecture to explore for a lovely collection of Chicago engagement photos: under bridges, greenways, and endless restaurants. Chicago is second to Amsterdam to having the most drawbridges of any city in North America. The bridges offer a great backdrop and structures for fun and creative photos with all the leading lines, shadows, and reflections. For a fun break check out O’Brien’s Riverwalk Café, City Winery, Frost Gelato, City Winery or Tiny Tapp and Cafe. The scenic and spacious waterfront patios are perfect for good conversation and quality time together. This was the perfect evening for these two as we connected with them about their upcoming wedding at Youngberg Hill.
