The morning unfolded quietly across the on-site cabins, with Teresa and her bridesmaids preparing in sunlight-filled rooms while Matt and his groomsmen got ready nearby. Staying on the property allowed everyone to remain close, making a private first look and portraits along the creek and trails possible before the ceremony. The Lodge’s natural features, including flowing water, wooded trails, and spacious lawns, offer rustic charm and flexibility, making it one of the most memorable Camp Sherman wedding venues in Central Oregon.
Their ceremony by the pond was intimate and heartfelt. “The Invitation” by Oriah Mountain Dreamer was read aloud, framing the day in presence and honesty. Teresa and Matt’s vows were deeply personal, reflecting the care and depth of their relationship, and a close friend performed a live song that captivated all the guests.
Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the back Garden. The property’s amenities, from fire pits to hiking trails, creek access, and lawn games, encouraged playful moments and connection throughout the afternoon. During golden hour, Teresa and Matt danced over to this beautiful slice of warm sunlight in the forest near the creek holding each other and laughing.
The evening transformed into a full dance party, with guests spinning, laughing, and celebrating with wild, carefree energy. As photographers, capturing these moments of pure joy was a highlight of the day. The dance floor was absolutely lit, nothing but good vibes all around.
