If you are looking for adventure engagement experience within Portland explore a Cathedral Park engagement including Forest Park. Forest Park looks out over the Willamette River and spans more than 8 miles. It’s the largest urban forest reserve in the US covering more than 5100 acres and 70 miles of recreational trails. And Cathedral Park is one of the 14 Lewis and Clark landing sites dating back to 1806. Both of these parks are close enough to access for a fun engagement shoot. The vast feeling of Forest Park’s nature and the unique character of Cathedral Park is a great combination. We have the privilege of working with Jeff Tan at Watson Creative. Jeff is a very talented film director and writer and we feel lucky to work within the same office with him and the Watson team. We got the inside scoop when Jeff was going to propose to Emi in Paris and although we weren’t in Paris with them we went on adventure shoot in Portland. They will be getting married under the massive arches at Cathedral Park this coming summer 2019. Such a killer location! We were lucky to find one of those Indian summer days to follow them around on a fun hike and picnic while celebrating their engagement. Beautiful bright autumn colors speckled all throughout Forest Park on their walk. And during their picnic at Cathedral Park, we found a pink/purple sky with the moon through the silhouette of the bridge. Wine, bread, and cheese. A Cathedral park engagement coupled with Forest park was the perfect combination while reflecting on their Paris engagement. Their upcoming wedding underneath this bridge and reception at Toro Bravo will be so lovely. We are so thrilled for these two!
