Galen and Carl’s Castaway Portland wedding was filled with the best of all emotions. These two fabulous humans reached out to us while we were visiting family in California so we skyped. Although we always prefer to meet in person we immediately loved their smiles and laughter. Thank you technology for offering us an option that gives us something almost like face to face in person.
Once we learned more about the day they wanted to create we could tell they wanted a relaxed but meaningful day full of love and friendship. They were not focused on decor or the details, they were focused on the moments. So that was what they were also looking for in Photography. Candids of all the fun and celebration and the connection between.
Galen and Carl live in NW Portland which is quite Urban and they wanted to showcase that. They had even recently purchased a home they were in the process of remodeling and Carl chose to get ready in their almost home. So when choosing a venue they went with a Castaway Portland wedding. The Castaway offers so much with the courtyard and warehouse feel, plus views of the Fremont Bridge and has some great old buildings to incorporate.
