Sacred Bali Engagement - Chris & Kirstin

It’s not every day you have the opportunity to walk through holy grounds and celebrate a sacred Bali engagement. Energetically this is about as unique and meaningful as it gets. We met Chris and Kirstin at our beloved TWO MANN Alumni Reunion retreat and immediately fell in love with their love. After 5 days of connecting with 25 other photographers for what we called “summer camp” we extended one more day to celebrate Chris and Kirstin’s Bali engagement by walking through some sacred grounds just outside Ubud, Bali. These two are a fantastic photography team who value adventure and great photos for life long memories. These few hours were so precious for associating their love in such a special spot.

Fun fact. Just after this session they immediately headed on a plane home and were still wearing the clothes they were dosed in by this sacred waterfall. Bali being so warm, their clothes were dry by then. Later they told us how they could still feel the freshness of these sacred waters on them all the way home. They loved it! There are really no words to describe the joy found in Bali, one must simply just go.

Bali has an energy that stays with you, long after you’ve left. The magic of this place, combined with the love between Chris and Kirstin, made this sacred Bali engagement unforgettable. Every corner we explored felt like it was meant for them, a perfect reflection of their adventurous spirits. Even as they boarded their plane, still carrying the essence of the sacred waterfall with them, the experience remained close to their hearts. It’s these kinds of moments that make our work as photographers so meaningful, and we feel incredibly lucky to have shared this day with them.
