On the wedding day, Mike got ready at Boardwalk Lodge in Government Camp, channeling a sharp 1930s Peaky Blinders look. Meanwhile, Allison prepared at the iconic Timberline Lodge, taking in sweeping views of Mt. Hood before the snowcat carried her up to Silcox.
They said their vows with their dogs by their side and guests who had traveled from Washington and Pennsylvania bundled up beside them. Afterward, tucked into the narrow stone passageway of the hut, they shared their first quiet moment alone as a married couple.
“We didn’t say a word,” they remembered. “We just held each other, breathing together. It was perfect.”
