what is an adventure session?
An adventure session explores the full personality of your relationship using a blend of photojournalism, creative portraiture, and landscape photography. This approach captures a cinematic feeling and stands the test of time. Adventure sessions can be as brief as a few hours or as elaborate as going on a trip across seas. Our intent is to embrace your experience while capturing the fullness of its feeling and visual story. An adventure session is a commitment of a later afternoon and early evening. The afternoon session involves exploring natural light and backdrops while the evening session involves our off-camera lighting for an exciting set of creatively lit shots. This is a great time for getting to know us, having fun, and capturing great photo inspiration.
This is a very exciting and meaningful session.
Bring a variety of outfits.
Be ready for anything.
There is nothing like the moment of a proposal. Butterflies are everywhere. From the person proposing, the photographer(s), and of course the person being proposed to! It’s real, unpredictable and alive. We are here to listen and help brainstorm a plan that reflects the most authentic experience. We’ve disguised ourselves as nature photographers or random photo enthusiasts then invisibly turned to capture some of the most powerful moments of our career. Its magic!
What reflects the best version of your relationship? Do you like hiking? Sailing with friends? Enjoying coffee over a timeless conversation? We will go where you go, and capture the magic of your adventurous engagement photos.
There is no other story better than your own. Intimacy has its own timing. Some are the best when traveling to faraway places, others are best within the simple spaces of your own city. Quality time can open unknown paths. We are here to help you find those spaces, and capture it.
Taking quality time after your wedding to capture creative photos takes the pressure off on your wedding day. These photos can capture an extended celebration with your friends and family as well as those epic intimate sunset photographs.
